BHE-Bill Privacy Statement

1. Information Collection and Use

BHE-Bill is the sole owner of all information collected on this site. We will not sell or rent this information to others or share it with others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. BHE-Bill collects information from our customers at several different points on our website.

2. Registration & Order Processing
In order to use this website or purchase online services or physical goods through this website, a customer must first complete the registration/order form. During the registration/order process, a customer is required to provide his mailing and/or billing information, including without limitation: full name, street address, city, state, ZIP or postal code, country, phone number, e-mail address, and credit card information. This information is used for billing purposes and to fill customer’s orders. If we have trouble processing an order, this contact information is used to contact the customer.

3. Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the customer’s hard drive containing information related to the customer. For instance, by setting a cookie on our site, the customer might avoid having to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time while on our site. Cookies might also be used to keep track of items the customer has chosen to place in an online shopping cart as part of a potential order. If a customer rejects a cookie, (s)he may still use our site; the only drawback to rejection of a cookie is that the customer may be limited in some areas of our site. Cookies may also be used to track and target the interests of our customers to enhance the experience on our site. Some of our business partners (for example, advertisers) may use cookies on our site. However, we have no control over these cookies.

4. Log Files
We record and use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track customers’ movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are linked to personally identifiable information where necessary to help confirm identity. We reserve the right to use information we collect regarding a customer’s IP address to investigate and/or prosecute any potential fraud or other illegal activity.

5. Use and Disclosure of Information

A. Internal Uses
We use the information we collect about you: (1) for order fulfillment purposes; (2) to provide and improve the quality of our customer service; (3) to determine your eligibility to receive offers for special features or products; and (4) to improve our products and services. We give access to individually identifiable information about our customers only to those employees or contractors of BHE-Bill who require it to fulfill customer service requests. In order to better understand and serve our customers, we regularly conduct research on our customers’ demographics, interests, and behavior based on the information provided to us upon registration, during order placement, or in the course of other contacts with us. This research is compiled and analyzed on an aggregate basis, and no personally identifiable information will be divulged to advertisers, business partners, sponsors, or other third parties without your express consent. We reserve the right to use any customer information in order to internally investigate possible fraud or other suspicious activities.

B. Disclosure to BHE-Bill Vendors & Suppliers

(1) Where a customer uses this site to purchase an online service or other service that is provided strictly online, we will share the customer’s full name, city, state, ZIP or postal code, and e-mail address with the vendor of the product.

(2) Where a customer uses this site to purchase a product requiring physical delivery, we will share the customer’s full name, shipping address, phone number, and e-mail address with the vendor of the product.

(3) We use an outside credit card processing company to bill customers for goods and services and to verify credit card information submitted by customers. We will share a customer’s full name, billing address, phone number, e-mail address, and credit card information with those organizations responsible for approving and processing credit card transactions. These companies do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.

In any of the above cases, the vendor, processing company, or organization will also be provided the amount of the order.

C. Disclosure as Part of Customer Billing Inquiries
We are committed to taking all reasonable measures to protect the personal information of our customers, as well as providing the best customer service possible. To that end, we will share all details of any transaction to a person who is reasonably identifiable as, and whom we reasonably believe to be, the customer who made the transaction in question. For example, we will share all details of any transaction: (1) in response to a request received from the e-mail address provided during the signup process; (2) with any person reached at the phone number provided during the purchase process or calling from that phone number, if that person claims to be the person listed in the transaction and is able to provide the proper answer to the personal ID question provided during the purchase process; (3) in writing through correspondence addressed to the person and address provided during signup; or (4) to any person providing both the username and password established during the purchase process. The previous list is not meant to be exhaustive, and the details of a transaction may be shared in any situation where we reasonably and in good faith believe the person seeking the information to be the customer in whose name the transaction was initiated, or an agent of that person.

D. Policy of Non-Disclosure to Other Third Parties
We will not share any personally identifiable private customer information with any other, unrelated third party. We may, however, share aggregated demographic information with our partners and advertisers. Such information will not be linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person.

E. Policy of Cooperation with Legal Process & Criminal Investigations
We may disclose any or all information that we in good faith believe is appropriate to cooperate in investigations of fraud or other illegal activity, or to comply with any valid legal process, such as a search warrant, subpoena, statute, court order, levy attachment, order of a court-appointed receiver, or any other legal process, including subpoenas from private parties in a civil action, or to conduct investigations of violations of our Terms of Use.

6. Links to External Content
This website may contain links to other sites. Please be aware that we (BHE-BILL) have no control over and are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our customers to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each and every web site that collects personally identifiable information. This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by this Web site.

7. Surveys & Contests
From time to time our site may request information from customers via surveys or contests. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and the customer therefore has a choice whether or not to disclose any requested information. Information requested may include, without limitation, contact information (such as name and shipping address), and demographic information (such as zip code, age level). Contact information will be used to notify the winners and award prizes. It may also be used in determining to whom future offers may be made. Survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of this site.

8. Security
This website takes every precaution to protect our customers’ information. When a customer submits sensitive information via the website, the customer’s information is protected both online and off-line. When our registration/order form asks the customer to enter sensitive information (such as credit card number and/or social security number), that information is encrypted and is protected using SSL, the industry standard encryption software, unless the customer specifically choose to not use SSL. While on a secure page, such as our order form, the lock icon on the bottom of Web browsers such as Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer becomes locked, as opposed to unlocked or open as when you are just “surfing,” that is, navigating non-secure sites. To learn more about SSL, you may want to visit http://www.verisign.com/site/ssl.html. While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also do everything in our power to protect customer-information off-line. All of our customers’ information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Only those employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, our billing clerk or a customer service representative) are granted access to personally identifiable information. Furthermore, ALL employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. Whenever new policies are added, our employees are notified and/or reminded about the importance we place on privacy, and what they can do to ensure our customers’ information is protected. Finally, the servers on which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a physically secure environment. If you have any questions about the security at our website, you can send an email to support@bhebill.com.

9. E-mail Communications

A. Site and Service Updates
We send all new customers a welcoming email to verify purchase information. In addition, customers are notified by email of changes in their account status, such as the expiration of a membership or the shipment of an order. We also send customers site and service announcement updates. Customers are not able to un-subscribe from these types of emails, which contain important information about the service. We communicate with the customer to provide requested services and in regards to issues relating to their account via email or phone.

B. Special Offers/“Opt-Out”
Current and former customers may occasionally receive a newsletter and/or information on products, services, and special deals. In the event that you have received such email(s) and wish not to receive any further such emails, you may “opt-out” of having your information used for these purposes by emailing us at support@bhebill.com.

10. Correcting/Updating Personal Information
If a customer’s personally identifiable information (such as ZIP code) has changed, or if a customer no longer desires our service, we will endeavor to provide a way to correct, update, or remove any personal information that the customer has provided to us.

11. Notification of Changes to Privacy Policy
If we decide to change this privacy policy, we will apprise our customers of such changes either through our website or by e-mail, so that our customers will always be aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.
